Austrian tennis player Dominic Thiem overcame the barrier of the second round of the competition in Buenos Aires, beating the German Maximilian Marterer in two sets – 6/4, 6/4.
For 1 hour and 22 minutes of the match, the eighth racket of the world, 25-year-old Dominic, realized four break points and was mistaken three times when serving. The 23-year-old Marterer, who occupies the 85th position in the world classification, twice took the opponent’s serve, made one ace and three double mistakes.
