Austrian tennis player Dominic Thiem answered a question about his attitude towards different scoring formats.
“I still like the classic version. However, I wouldn’t mind the idea of a decisive tie-break instead of a third game.
That format could be used in the starting rounds of the tournaments because it keeps the audience tense.
The experience with the Ultimate Tennis Showdown was great, but I would leave it at that in the official competitions,” said Thiem in an interview with Tennisnet.
