Romanian tennis player Simona Halep spoke with BBC about how she spent time in self-isolation.
“It was definitely the longest break I’ve ever had in my career. She told everyone that I was going to put the racket aside and live like a normal person. Lived off schedule, didn’t want to play and train at all.
I tried to look for a positive attitude in everything. I was doing the usual things and trying to get my mind in order. Now I’m hungry again until I win. I want to go to tournaments, study different countries and play,” said Halep.
