Russian tennis player Daniil Medvedev overcame the second-round barrier of the Masters in Miami, beating Frenchman Adrian Mannarino – 6/2, 6/1.
The fight lasted 1 hour 9 minutes. The 15th racket of the world, 23-year-old Daniel, recorded five breaks and nine aces, making one mistake when serving. 30-year-old Mannarino, who occupies the 55th place in the world classification, once took the opponent’s serve and made three double mistakes.
The Frenchman remains the leader in the personal meetings of the players – 3: 1. In the third round of the Miami Open competition, Medvedev will play either with American Reilly Opelka or with Argentinean Diego Schwartzman.
