Russian tennis player Daniil Medvedev won the competition in Sofia, beating Hungarian Marton Fucsovics in the final – 6/4, 6/3.
The fight lasted 1 hour and 21 minutes. The 16th number of the ATP rating, 22-year-old Daniil, recorded four breaks and six aces, making a mistake once. 27-year-old Fucsovics, who occupies the 47th place in the world classification, once took the opponent’s serve, made four aces and two double mistakes.
Russian widened the gap in the personal meetings of players – 2: 0. The title won in the tournament Sofia Open, became the fourth in his career for Medvedev, bringing € 90,390 in prize money and 250 rating points.
