French tennis player Gael Monfils broke the barrier of the first round of the Australian Open, beating Bosman Damir Dzumhur in three sets, 6/0, 6/4, 6/0.
The match lasted 1 hour and 25 minutes. The 33rd World No. 32, Gael, made eight breaks and ten aces, making a mistake three times when serving. 26-year-old Dzumhur, who occupies 47th place in the world classification, once took the opponent’s submission, made two aces and four double mistakes.
Previously, the players have not met each other. In the second round of the tournament, Monfils will play with Taylor Fritz.
