Who won the most ATP Rogers Cup titles?
Despite the fact that the Rogers Cup has been held on hard court for 40 years, the most recent tournament was won not by Roger Federer or Novak Djokovic, but by the unofficial king of the soil, Rafael Nadal. The Spaniard has five ATP Toronto and ATP Montreal victories, three of them in Toronto and two in Montreal. Ivan Lendl, who also has five wins on hard court, shone here in the 1980s. If you add the Czechoslovakian’s title on clay, it would appear that he was more successful in Canada than Nadal.
Djokovic won the Roger Cup four times. Britain’s Andy Murray and America’s Andre Agassi have won three times each.
