British Andy Murray commented on his defeat from Swiss Stan Wawrinka in Paris.
“I was not lucky with the draw, because even a good game would not guarantee me a victory. But today I played not the best game, I served less than 40% of my opportunities. It is not enough.
Now I have to analyze this match well. If you look at the score, I think it’s the biggest loss of my career. I have to understand why it happened.
I’ve never served so terribly, but it has nothing to do with my hip, as well as a bad game at the reception and a low first-ball hit percentage. My team should pay attention to this. I have already had matches after my return when I served well, so there is no problem with physics.
Beast lacked a couple of points to win the US Open, but a couple of weeks before that I managed to beat him. So I just have to move on. But I don’t think there will be any more matches like this by the end of the season”, – LTA press service quotes Murray.
