German tennis player Alexander Zverev became the champion of the competition in Geneva, beating Chilean Nicolas Jarry – 6/3, 3/6, 7/6 (8).
For 2 hours and 35 minutes of the duel, the fifth racket of the world, 22-year-old Alexander, made one break and three aces, making a mistake eight times when serving. 23-year-old Jarry, occupying the 75th line of the world table of ranks, once took the opponent’s submission, made six aces and two double mistakes.
In personal meetings of players established equality – 1: 1. The title won at the Geneva Open tournament was the 11th career goal for Zverev, bringing € 90,390 and 250 rating points.
