German tennis player Alexander Zverev overcame the barrier of the 1/8 finals of the competition in Geneva, beating the Latvian Ernest Gulbis – 6/2, 6/1.
The match lasted 1 hour 5 minutes. The fifth racket of the world, 22-year-old Alexander, recorded five breaks and six aces, making a mistake six times when serving. The 30-year-old Gulbis, who occupies the 80th place in the ATP rating, once took the opponent’s pitch, made one ace and three double mistakes.
