Argentine tennis player Diego Schwartzman failed to overcome the barrier of the quarter final of the tournament in Cordoba, losing in two games to his compatriot Guido Pella – 5/7, 2/6.
The match lasted 1 hour and 50 minutes. The 20th World Racket, 26-year-old Schwartzman, took the opponent’s pitch once, made one ace and two double faults. 28-year-old Guido, who occupies 59th place in the world classification, implemented four break-points, made one ace and made a mistake when serving.
Previously, the score in personal meetings of the players was equal – 1: 1. In the semifinals of the Cordoba Open, Pella will play with either Uruguayan Pablo Cuevas or Slovenian Aljaz Bedene.
