The 38th World No., Slovak tennis player Martin Klizan, defeated German Daniel Brands, who ranks 180th in the world ranking, in the second round of the Sofia Open competition – 7/6 (5), 6/4.
For 1 hour and 39 minutes of the match, Martin made six aces and two breaks, having erred three times when serving. Whereas Daniel filed five times right through and realized one break-point, making two double mistakes.
Through personal meetings of opponents was 2: 1 in favor of the Slovak. In the quarterfinals of the tournament, Klizan will play either with Robin Haase from Holland, or with Russian Daniil Medvedev.
