The 2023 Chengdu Open is a men’s tennis event played on outdoor hard courts. It’s part of the ATP 250 series and is the 5th time the tournament is happening, but the first time since 2019. The tournament replaced the ATP Malaysian Open in Kuala Lumpur when it started in 2016. It will run from September 20 to 26 at the Sichuan International Tennis Center in Chengdu, China.
The tennis center is pretty big and modern. It has a main court that can hold 6,000 people and two other show courts with 2,000 seats each. In total, the center has 20 hard courts and 12 indoor courts.
