The 26-year-old Cameron Norrie is having a great season, winning 46 matches so far, which moves him up to sixth on the ATP Tour this season.

For the 26-year-old Norrie, it’s the first Masters final of his career. He’ll fight with Nikoloz Basilashvili of Georgia for the title. Cameron’s performance in Indian Wells will result in his debut in the top-20, regardless of the final’s outcome.
Cameron’s higher position in the ATP rankings will allow him to advance to Grand Slam tournaments. After reaching the finals of the BNP Paribas Open, the Brit commented on the fact that he has never reached the second week of Grand Slams this season.
“I’ve had several opportunities, but so far I haven’t succeeded. I consider these defeats a good lesson. Hopefully now I’ll be seeded higher and have a better chance.
But this year I played against very strong players in the third round, against Rafa in Australia and Roland Garros, against Roger at Wimbledon. They’re really tough tennis players, and for me, it’s a really tough experience,” Cameron said.
