Argentine tennis player Guido Andreozzi overcame the barrier of the first round of the tournament in Sydney, beating in three games Australian Matthew Ebden – 3/6, 6/3, 6/4. The 80th World No. 27, Guido, made three breaks and seven aces, making a mistake five times when serving. 31-year-old Ebden, who occupies 47th place in the world classification, twice took the pitch of an opponent, made 11 aces and six double faults.
