Young Swiss player Belinda Bencic is regularly compared to Martina Hingis, because at such a young age she has already won big tournaments and beaten strong opponents, such as Serena Williams, Simona Halep, Petra Kvitova.
Belinda Bencic Playing style
Belinda prefers to move quickly from defense to attack, helped by her tennis racket and a good understanding of the game.
Bencic is an all-court player with a strong attacking mentality. She’s been compared to former world No. 1 Martina Hingis because both are Swiss, of Slovak heritage, and have been tutored by Hingis’ mother.
Bencic’s first serve is extremely strong, reaching 113 mph (182 km/h) on occasion. This allows her to serve aces and dominate play from the start of a point. Despite this, Bencic’s second service is a significant shortcoming, and it is influenced by nerves, meaning she frequently serves many double faults. Bencic has the ability to hit powerful groundstroke winners, but she can also produce lob and drop shot winners if given the chance.
Bencic is great at striking the ball early or on the rise, and she’s capable of turning defense into attack by redirecting cross-court shots down the line. Bencic is a strong opponent on all surfaces, and she has stated that her favorite surface is grass.

This model is a good fit for players with an above-average level of play, they will find in this racket excellent maneuverability. Like its predecessor, the EZONE 100 is designed for power and handling, but thanks to the redesigned rim geometry, the head size of this model is slightly larger. Among other novelties: Micro Offset Layout is a special technology of trimming of grommets which enables the racket to better handle vibrations and increase comfort. Also, the Hyper Modulus Graphite system in the top part of the racquet and fork was changed. The racquet is now more stable and “monolithic” and this improves power transfer from the player through the racquet to the ball. Comes without strings, with the case.
