Russian tennis player Karen Khachanov commented on his victory in the quarterfinals of the “Masters” in Montreal, and also shared his expectations from the confrontation with his compatriot Daniil Medvedev.
“I think that Zverev could not show his best game. However, I played tactically competently and did not give him the opportunity to act in the usual manner. Probably, this greatly upset him,” ATP quoted Karen.
“Playing with our close friend is always difficult. We played together at the competitions when we were 12 years old and know each other very well. Of course, it will be difficult for us, but on the other hand, we both understand what to expect. We have completely different styles, so that the match should be interesting, “Khachanov said.
