Czech Barbora Strycova commented on her entry to the Wimbledon semifinals, where she will meet with American Serena Williams. The athlete became the oldest semi-finalist of “Slam”, which reached this stage for the first time.
“I always dreamed it was great to perform at Wimbledon. It’s great that it happens at that age. At the beginning of the season I set my sights on Wimbledon. This proves that you have to believe in something and it will come true.
As for meeting with Serena, I’m not afraid. I’ll just go to the court and try to show my game. Of course, I do not have such strength as hers, but I have other advantages.
