Czech tennis player Karolina Muchova commented on reaching the quarterfinals of Wimbledon.
“I have never played such long matches, even on clay. Karolina is a player with no weak sides, but since the beginning of the second set I played much more confidently and began to go to the net more often. It was very hard and I am glad that in the last game managed to take the flow Pliskova and we did not have to play a tie-break when the score was 12/12.
In the decisive set, I tried to maintain maximum concentration, and it bore fruit. I am incredibly pleased to reach the quarter-finals. This is quite an unexpected result for me. I will do my best to recover for tomorrow’s match, but now I feel incredibly tired, “the Wimbledon press service quotes Muchova.
