The ninth racket of the world, American Sloane Stephens, beat Chinese woman Wang Yafan, who is on the 57th place in the WTA rating, with a score of 6/0, 6/2 in the second round of the “major” in London.
Tennis players spent on the court 54 minutes. During this time, 26-year-old Stephens was noted with five realized break-points, and 25-year-old Yafan made two double mistakes and made one break. This was the first official meeting of athletes.
