The third racket of the world, Swiss tennis player Roger Federer, at the start of the competition Halle Open defeated the Australian John Millman, who occupies 57th place in the world ranking, – 7/6,6/3.
For 1 hour and 17 minutes of the match, Roger made nine aces and one break, making a mistake five times in the pitch. Then, as John twice filed through and made two double faults. Score in the personal meetings of opponents was 2: 1 in favor of the Swiss.
In the second round of the tournament in Halle, Federer will play against the Frenchman Jo-Wilfried Tsonga.
