The 33rd world number one, the Belgian David Goffin, lost to Frenchman Adrian Mannarino, who occupies the 44th line of the ATP rating, with a score of 6/4, 5/7, 3/6 in the quarterfinal of the competitions in Hertogenbosch.
The meeting lasted 2 hours and 25 minutes. During this time, the 28-year-old Goffin completed four aces, made a mistake ten times in filing and sold five break points, and the 30-year-old Mannarino filed four times, made six double mistakes and made six breaks.
Earlier in personal meetings was 4-0 in favor of the Belgian. The next contender for Mannarino in the Libema Open tournament will be the Croatian Borna Coric.
