World No. 14, Russian tennis player Daniil Medvedev, defeated American MacKenzie Mcdonald, who is ranked 61st in the world ranking, in the third round of the Barcelona Open Banc Sabadell 6/3, 6/2.
For 1 hour and 20 minutes of the match, Daniil made two aces and five breaks, never making a mistake when serving. While Mackenzie never served ace, he implemented two break points and made one double mistake.
Score in personal meetings of opponents was 2-0 in favor of the Russians. In the quarterfinals of the Barcelona tournament, Medvedev will play either with the Bulgarian Grigor Dimitrov, or with the Chilean Nicholas Harry.
