Canadian tennis player Felix Auger overcame the first-round barrier of the Masters in Monte Carlo, beating Argentinian Juan Ignacio Londero in two sets, – 7/5, 7/6 (5).
For 1 hour 58 minutes of the fight, the 33rd World No. 18, Felix, 18, made three breaks and five aces, making the wrong mistake five times. 25-year-old Londero, occupying the 79th position in the world classification, twice took the pitch of an opponent, made one ace and four double errors.
Previously, the players did not meet each other. In the second round of the Rolex Monte-Carlo Masters competition, Auger faced off with the German Alexander Zverev.
