Djokovic and Federer lost to Luka Modric in voting for the best athlete of the year

Serbian tennis player Novak Djokovic and Swiss Roger Federer entered the top three in the voting of the International Sports Press Association for the best athlete of 2018.

First place went to Croatian footballer Luka Modric (419 points), second – Novak Djokovic (337), third – Swiss Roger Federer (290). The woman won the American gymnast Simona Biles with 427 points. Romanian Simone Halep – the third (331 points).
