Spanish tennis player Roberto Bautista-Agut overcame the barrier of the first round of the tournament in Dubai, beating the Indian Ramkumar Ramanathan in two sets – 6/4, 6/3.
The match lasted 1 hour and 22 minutes. The 18th World, 30-year-old Roberto, sold three break points and made a mistake once. The 24-year-old Ramanathan, occupying the 137th line of the world table of ranks, made six aces and one double mistake.
Previously between the players have not met. In the second round of the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships, Bautista-Agut will play against Nikoloz Basilashvili.
