Moldavian tennis player Radu Albot overcame the barrier of the 1/2 final of the Delray Beach competition, beating the American Mackenzie McDonald in three sets, – 3/6, 6/0, 6/0.
For 1 hour and 30 minutes of the match, the 82nd racket of the world, 29-year-old Radu, recorded seven breaks and six aces, making a mistake twice when serving. The 23-year-old MacDonald, who occupies the 84th place in the ATP ranking, took the opponent’s submission twice, made two aces and seven double mistakes.
Previously between the players have not met. In the final of the Delray Beach Open tournament, Albot will play with Daniel Evans.
