The first racket of the world, Serb Novak Djokovic, is recognized as Laureus athlete of the year.
This was reported in the official microblogging Academy on Twitter.
Recall that last season Novak won Wimbledon and the US Open, as well as the Masters in Cincinnati and Shanghai. Note also that Djokovic won this award for the fourth time in his career.
