For 1 hour and 36 minutes of the match, the 54th racket of the world, 33-year-old Barbora, made three breaks and four aces, mistaken three times when serving. 28-year-old Johanna, who is in 18th place in the world classification, once took a rival’s filing, made three aces and one double mistake. Czech increased the gap in the personal meetings of athletes – 2: 0.
In the semifinals of the tournament, Strycova will play with Serena Williams.
