There are four key tournaments in the world of tennis that are part of the Grand Slam. The oldest and most prestigious of them is Wimbledon. It is the only major that is still held on grass, although 50 years ago it was the most popular surface for tennis players. This season the Wimbledon tournament will be held from June 28 to July 11.
