The Swiss team was the first finalist of the Hopman Cup exhibition tournament held in Perth. This became known after Roger Federer beat Stefanos Tsitsipas in two tiebreaks – 7/6 (5), 7/6 (4). Thus, the Swiss national team guaranteed itself the first place in its group.
