Adelaide International is the first tournament on the WTA Tournament calendar. It starts on January 3 and runs until January 9. The tournament has been held since 2020 and its first champion was Ash Barty. The WTA Adelaide tournament belongs to the WTA 500 category. Adelaide will host another WTA 250 series tournament later this season, Jan. 10-15.
