Ekaterina Alexandrova was born November 15, 1994 in Chelyabinsk. Her father’s name is Evgeny and her mother is Yulia. Ekaterina also has a sister Anna and a brother Yuri.
Alexandrova began practicing tennis at the age of six. In 2011, she made her Pro-Tour debut. Two years later she won her first trophy at an ITF competition.
In 2016, Katerina played for the first time in the main draw of a WTA tournament (in Katowice) and also made her debut at the Slam (Wimbledon), reaching the second round.
Alexandrova speaks three languages: Russian, English and Czech. In her free time, she enjoys cooking and, in particular, baking.
