Bernarda Pera is a Croatian-born American professional tennis player, who has not yet won a single WTA tournament. Numerous victories at tournaments have helped her rise to No. 59 in the WTA rankings in March 2020.

Bernarda Pera was born on December 3, 1994 in Zadar, Croatia. She first picked up a racket at the age of five. She began her professional career in 2009.

For four years she competed under the Croatian flag, and in 2013 she changed her sporting citizenship to American.

She first qualified for a Grand Slam tournament in 2014 at the US Open, but failed to make it to the main draw. Bernarda did not get her first win at the Majors until four years later, entering the Australian Open as a “lackey loser” and reaching the third round. That was also the first time she finished the season in the WTA Top 100
