Amanda Anisimova was born on August 31, 2001 in Freehold Township, USA. Her parents Konstantin and Olga emigrated to the USA from Russia. Her father coached Amanda for a long time, but died in August 2019.
Anisimova first picked up a racket at the age of three, and began her professional career in 2017. That’s when she debuted in the main draw of Roland Garros, receiving a wild card from the organizers.
