Alison Van Uytvanck was born on March 26, 1994 in Vilvoorde, Belgium. Her parents’ names are Rene van Uytvanck and Krista Lamers. The athlete also has two brothers, Shawn and Brett.
Alyson picked up a racket for the first time at the age of five. She began her professional career in 2010. The following February, she won her first ITF title and then made her debut at the WTA tournament in Brussels. In 2014, she played in the main draw of a Grand Slam tournament for the first time, at the Australian Open. That same season, the Belgian entered the top 100 of the world ranking.
