Spanish tennis player Rafael Nadal overcame the barrier of the second round of the Australian Open, beating in three games Australian Matthew Ebden – 6/3, 6/2, 6/2.
For 1 hour 56 minutes of the match, the second racket of the world, 32-year-old Rafael, made five breaks and six aces, making four wrong mistakes when serving. 31-year-old Ebden, occupying the 48th position in the world classification, made seven aces and three double faults.
The Spaniard has increased the gap in the personal meetings of the players – 2: 0. Nadal’s next opponent in the tournament will be another Australian representative Alex De Minaur.
