Spanish tennis player Rafael Nadal broke the barrier of the third round of Wimbledon, defeating Frenchman Jo-Wilfried Tsonga – 6/2, 6/3, 6/2.
The match lasted 1 hour and 48 minutes. The second racket of the world, 33-year-old Rafael, made five breaks and ten aces, making one mistake when serving. 34-year-old Tsonga, occupying the 72nd position in the world classification, made 11 aces and four double faults. The Spaniard remains the leader in the personal meetings of players – 10: 4.
In the fourth round of the tournament, Nadal will play either with the Portuguese Joao Sauce, or with the British Daniel Evans.
Note that the Spaniard reached this stage of Wimbledon for the ninth time in his career.
