The current champion of the tournament St. Petersburg Ladies Trophy, Czech Petra Kvitova, flew to St. Petersburg to protect the title.
“I am very glad to return to the beautiful city of St. Petersburg to participate in the tournament,” Kvitova wrote in her microblog on Twitter.
Recall that the first match of the Czech will take place tomorrow, January 30. She received the first number of sowing and will begin her speech from the second round, where she will meet with Belarusian Viktoria Azarenka.
