The sixth racket of the world, the Czech tennis player Petra Kvitova, in the semifinals of the Australian Open championship, defeated the American Danielle Collins, who holds the 35th place in the world ranking, 7/6 (2), 6/0.
For 1 hour and 34 minutes of the match, Petra made four aces and four breaks, making four mistakes when serving. While Danielle doubled through and realized one break-point, making four double faults. Through personal meetings, opponents became 2-0 in favor of the Czech.
In the final of the tournament, Kvitova will play either with the Czech Karolina Pliskova, or with the Japanese woman Naomi Osaka.
Note that the match was interrupted for a few minutes due to the heat. The meeting continued after the roof was closed.
