Australian Nick Kyrgios in the column for the publication The Guardian spoke about his attitude to Briton Andy Murray.
“During our first meetings, I felt very young. In fact, I lost before going to court. Federer and Nadal I was always less afraid than Murray. I realized that it would be difficult for me, I did not believe in my strength. I realized that I would not be able to fight him in the protracted draws.
I would like to fight with him when we are both in our best form. I am sure that it would be interesting. Not a fact, of course, that I would win. Always joking about Andy on the subject that he is much stronger than Djokovic and could have won a lot more trophies. Murray played during the heyday of very strong players. He had a great career. It is unfortunate that the body has let it down. But I really hope that he will not regret anything, “wrote Kyrgios.
