Czech tennis player Petra Kvitova overcame the barrier of the third round of the Australian Open, beating the Swiss team Belinda Bencic in two sets – 6/1, 6/4.
For 1 hour and 8 minutes of the match, the sixth racket of the world, 28-year-old Petra, made three breaks and seven aces, making a mistake once when serving. 21-year-old Bencic, who occupies the 49th position in the world classification, has made three aces and two double mistakes.
Czech remains the leader in the personal meetings of athletes – 3: 0. In the 1/8 finals of the tournament Kvitova will meet with Amanda Anisimova.
