Russian woman Maria Sharapova spoke about her injury and shared her emotions after the starting match at Wimbledon.
“This is a complicated injury. No one has yet given me the answer, which led to it.
I do not want to leave. Everyone here does their job. I rarely take off in the middle of a match. I haven’t given press conferences at Grand Slam tournaments for a long time, but I want to do it.
I am proud that I continue to play, because I could easily do something else, I have enough opportunities for that. But I never choose the easy way. I do what I love and am ready to devote myself to it all.
After the match, I went to the doctor and took a picture. The situation is not very positive. I have not even seen the team yet, ”the WTA press service quotes Sharapova as saying.
