Frenchman Lucas Puille commented on his victory over Canadian Milos Raonic in Melbourne.
“I am very happy to reach the semifinals. I knew that it would be difficult to beat Milos. The whole match was well served. Besides, I coped well with the opponent’s attacks. I tried not to put pressure on myself, but just to enjoy the game.
At the beginning of the season, I always try to forget about past failures. I just walked step by step, invested in each draw, and here I am in the semifinals. Even after losing the third set, I knew that the score was still 2: 1 in my favor, so I had to keep playing like I had done in the previous two and a half hours, ”the Australian Open press service quoted Puille as saying.
