A game plan
The former WTA number one Karolina Pliskova commented on her victory today.
“I’m very satisfied with the way I played in this match. All my matches were more or less the same throughout the tournament. Today I played especially well.
I had two days to prepare for the match and together with my team to analyze my opponent’s actions.
We had a good plan, which I was able to execute. I did everything I needed to win.
Pliskova’s next opponent in London will be Viktorija Golubic of Switzerland, who outplayed American tennis player Madison Keys.
The athletes have already played one match between them in the Fed Cup tournament in 2016. Then Viktorija Golubic defeated Karolina Pliskova of the Czech Republic in three sets. Will Golubic be able to repeat the success of 5 years ago we will know very soon.
