The French team won both matches of the World Group in the opening match of the “Federation Cup”. In the first fight, Caroline Garcia defeated Alison Van Uytvanck – 7/6 (2), 4/6, 6/2. In the second meeting Alize Cornet was stronger than Elise Mertens – 7/6 (6), 6/2.
