Canadian tennis player Eugenie Bouchard rated her start at the Australian Open.
– Now I get pleasure on the court, over the past couple of months I have become stronger. In recent tournaments, I spent very stable matches. Now I enjoy training and tournaments. It’s the most important.
– Is there anything else in tactical terms?
– I had a hard time last year. And, of course, it was not very cool to lose early. But now I feel that I am moving in the right direction, I see concrete moments in which I add.
“According to Serena, what she likes most about you is that you are not giving up.” Even if you are written off, you are fighting. And what would you have identified in Serena?
– This is a long list. She is the greatest in history. She is in the top 20, but for me she is always the first. And I admire her longevity, domination and level. I admire how she returned after many injuries and pregnancy. I will not praise her, because I play with her in two days. But I adore her.
