Briton Andy Murray offered the fan a ticket for his first round match at the Australian Open.
One of the fans attended a training match between a British and a Serb Novak Djokovic in Melbourne, after which she wrote a post about Murray on her Instagram page. Tennis player entered into a correspondence with her, and then offered to help with tickets for his starting match in Melbourne. A fan thanked Andy and agreed to accept the gift, if it does not complicate the athlete.
“I’m still in shock, because I saw a man who made tennis love me. Before, I always asked my mother how to watch such a boring sport. But Andy showed me how interesting tennis can be, and I am very grateful to him,” – wrote a cheerleader on her Instagram page.
