Australian tennis player Alex De Minaur spoke about his attitude to more experienced players.
“Playing along with them is a great honor. If we go to one court, it means that I am also quite good, although I understand that before Federer, Nadal and Djokovic I am still far away. I began to feel more comfortable, and this gives confidence I am ready to fight.
Now I think only about myself, I have my own team, which helps me to show the maximum level and develop. There will always be pressure, but you need to be able to handle it.
As a child I admired Lleyton Hewitt. He helped me a lot, so I am guided by his style. Hewitt told me: “Believe in yourself, you can fight the best,” Tennis World quoted Alex as saying.
