Bulgarian tennis player Grigor Dimitrov overcame the barrier of the second round of the Australian Open, beating Pablo Cuevas in Uruguayan in four sets, – 6/3, 6/7 (5), 6/3, 7/5.
For 2 hours and 49 minutes of the match, the 21st racket of the world, the 27-year-old Grigor, made three breaks and eight aces, making a double mistake when serving. The 33-year-old Cuevas, occupying the 94th line of the world table of ranks, made 15 aces and eight double faults.
Bulgarian increased the lead in the personal meetings of the players – 3: 1. In the third round of the tournament, Dimitrov will play against Italian Thomas Fabbiano, who defeated American Reilly Opelka, – 6/7 (15), 6/2, 6/4, 3/6, 7/6 (5).
